La Volkswagen celebra ancora una volta un anniversario: per il 50° anniversario della Scirocco, tutto è in preparazione alla ZeitHaus di Wolfsburg, perché il testimone contemporaneo dovrebbe recarsi sul percorso del Sachsen Classic Rallye (dal 15 al 17 agosto , 2024). Che dire dello Scirocco, che è sceso in strada come un giovane sportivo di Wolfsburg? La Volkswagen aveva precedentemente prodotto la VW Karmann-Ghia (costruita dal 1955 al 1974), un'auto sportiva a prezzi accessibili che doveva essere un'alternativa alla costosa Porsche. - A proposito, oggi esistono ancora circa 16 esemplari della decappottabile Karmann-Ghia. Ma poi arrivò un'auto che conquistò con successo il cuore dei patentati con il portafoglio giusto: era l'anno 1974, più precisamente nel febbraio di quell'anno in cui la Scirocco arrivò nelle concessionarie VW - cioè ben tre mesi prima dell' presentazione del golf. Lo Scirocco

 Quando il vento caldo chiamato Scirocco soffia sul Mediterraneo dal Sahara sulle coste francesi e italiane, sai che sarà tempestoso perché la velocità del vento fa volare via tutto. La nuova VW Scirocco è sembrata davvero veloce agli sviluppatori quando è stata presentata.  

Il vento di Wolfsburg al Sachsen Classic Rally 2024 dal 15 al 17 agosto

Al 21° Rally Classico della Sassonia, che si svolgerà dal 15 al 17 agosto 2024, l'Autostadt di Wolfsburg sarà al via con due dei veicoli dell'anniversario:

    La Scirocco I GLI del 1977 ha un motore a iniezione da 1,6 litri con 110 CV. Dal 1974 al 1981 furono costruiti complessivamente 504.153 veicoli. Sono stati la pietra angolare del successo della serie.

    La Scirocco II GT II (1992) della collezione ZeitHaus è la seconda classica a percorrere il percorso del rally attraverso la Sassonia. È stata prodotta dal 1981 al 1992. Design, comfort e tecnologia erano stati ottimizzati e poi c'era la cilindrata di 1,8 litri con una potenza di 95 CV. Un totale di 291.497 veicoli uscirono dalla catena di montaggio.


L'Autostadt non solo ci ricorda l'importanza del “vento del deserto” per la storia dell'automobile, ma permette anche al sentimento dello Scirocco di rifiorire in Sassonia.

Il 21° Rally Classico della Sassonia 2024

•     Si inizia il 15 agosto a Zwickau: lungo il percorso ogni squadra deve superare diverse prove speciali con il proprio veicolo, ad esempio sulla pista del Gran Premio del Sachsenring. La Zwickauer Platz der Völkerfreundschaft è la meta del pomeriggio.
•     La tappa del 16 agosto porta via Torgau a Lipsia.
•     La terza, ultima tappa porta sabato a diverse prove speciali intorno a Lipsia.
•      Arrivo dalle ore 15:45 alla Wilhelm-Leuschner-Platz.

Il Gruppo Volkswagen sostiene la Sachsen Classic, alla quale prendono parte circa 160 squadre. È un rally di coerenza e affidabilità in cui sono ammesse solo automobili fino a un massimo del 2003 - comprese auto d'epoca italiane - ad es. Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Abarth o Lancia.

The Scirocco

At the 21st Saxony Classic Rally, which will take place from August 15th to 17th, 2024, the Autostadt in Wolfsburg will be at the start with two of the anniversary vehicles:

•     The 1977 Scirocco I GLI has a 1.6 liter injection engine with 110 hp. A total of 504,153 vehicles were built by him from 1974 to 1981. They were the cornerstone of the series' success.
•     The Scirocco II GT II (1992) from the ZeitHaus collection is the second classic to take to the rally route through Saxony. It was produced from 1981 to 1992. The 21st Saxony Classic Rally 2024

Norddeutschland - Wolfsburg - Osnabrück. Volkswagen ehrt wieder einen Jubilar: Zum 50. Jubiläum des Scirocco wird im ZeitHaus in Wolfsburg alles vorbereitet, denn der Zeitzeuge soll auf die Rallye-Strecke der Sachsen Classic Rallye (15. bis 17. August 2024). Wie war das noch mit dem Scirocco, der als sportlicher, junger Typ aus Wolfsburg auf die Strasse ging. Zuvor hatte Volkswagen mit dem VW Karmann-Ghia  (gebaut von 1955 bis 1974) einen günstigen Sportwagen produziert, der eine Alternative zum teuren Porsche sein sollte. - Von dem Karmann-Ghia Cabrios soll es heute übrigens noch circa 16 Exemplare geben. Doch dann kam ein Wagen, der erfolgreich in die Herzen der Führerscheinbesitzer fuhr, die ein entsprechendes Portemonnaie hatten: Man schrieb das Jahr 1974, genauer gesagt im Februar des Jahres am der Scirocco in die Autohäuser von VW – das war ganze drei Monate vor der Präsentation des Golf. Golffahrer von damals erinnern sich heute noch, der Scirocco hätte auch gefallen. Auch dieses Fahrzeug ließ VW bei Karmann in Osnabrück entwickeln. Ein  Sportcoupé mit ganzen 3.850 Millimetern Länge und 1.310 Millimetern höhe. Leer brachte das Fahrzeug 800 Kilogramm auf die Wage. Ein flotter Norddeutscher Sportwagen!

Der Scirocco

 Wenn der heiße Wind namens Scirocco über das Mittelmeer von der Sahara ausgehend über die französische Küste weht, dann weiß man, es wird stürmisch, denn die Windgeschwindigkeit lässt alles davonfliegen. So schnell kam den Entwicklern bei seiner Einführung auch der neue VW-Scirocco vor.

Bei der 21. Sachsen Classic Rallye, die vom 15. bis 17. August 2024 wird die Autostadt in Wolfsburg gleich mit 2 Fahrzeugen des Jubilars an den Start gehen:

• Der Scirocco I GLI von 1977 hat einen 1,6-Liter-Einspritzmotor mit 110 PS. Von ihm wurden  von 1974 bis 1981 ganze 504.153 Fahrzeuge gebaut. Sie waren  der Grundstein des Baureihen-Erfolgs.

Die Autostadt erinnert damit nicht nur an die Bedeutung des „Wüstenwindes“ für die Automobilgeschichte, sondern lässt in Sachsen das Scirocco-Gefühl erneut aufblühen.

Die 21. Sachsen Classic Rallye 2024

• Gestartet wird  15. August in Zwickau: Unterwegs muss jedes Team mit seinem Fahrzeug unterschiedliche  Wertungsprüfungen ablegen – z.B. über die Grand-Prix-Strecke des Sachsenrings. Der Zwickauer Platz der Völkerfreundschaft ist das Ziel für den Nachmittag.
• Die Etappe am 16. August führt dann über Torgau nach Leipzig. 
• Die dritte, letzte Etappe führt am Samstag zu mehreren Wertungsprüfungen rund um Leipzig. 
•  Zieleinlauf ab 15:45 Uhr am Wilhelm-Leuschner-Platz.

Der Volkswagen Konzern unterstützt die Sachsen Classic, bei der an die 160 Teams starten. Es handelt sich um eine Gleichmäßigkeits- und Zuverlässigkeits-Rallye, bei der nur Automobile bis maximal 2003 zugelassen sind - darunter auch italienische Oldtimer - z.B. von Fiat, Alfa Romeo, Abarth oder Lancia.

Golf and Scirocco from the ZeitHaus (Wolfsburg)

In 1974 there was a mobile debut and the classic Golf racer was born, followed by the Scirocco as a coupé. It was developed by Karmann in Osnabrück and was available with 50 HP, 70 HP and then as a TS with 85 HP. The “viper green” Scirocco GT from the first generation and a Scirocco II GT II (1992) were exhibited in Bremen - the latter is presented in the color tornado red and comes from the collection of the ZeitHaus (automobile museum) in Wolfsburg.

50 years of VW Golf - an icon celebrates its birthday

Certainly some Golf drivers will reminisce when they discover the Golf I. The Volkswagen icon turns 50 this year! And what's best: VW is showing the “unique EA 276 study” and presenting the forerunner of the Golf from 1969, which was built in Wolfsburg.

Back then it was an automotive revolution, let's say, when the Golf became the successor to the legendary Beetle in 1974. This was followed by front-wheel drive instead of rear engines. There was now enough space for a tailgate to easily load a large trunk, which offered endless space thanks to a folding rear seat back.

Let's come to the linear design, which was conceived by none other than Giorgetto Giugiaro and which from then on would become the design language at VW. A basic line continues to today's Golf VIII. Well, here and there people were surprised and it took a while (with every new Golf model) for the NEW one to become embedded in the viewing habits of Golf fans. But every time you switched to a new model you realized: the old Golf was nice, but this one makes you quickly forget it.

The Golf quickly became the favorite model of many drivers and the first million were sold in 1976. It's hard to believe, but Volkswagen has delivered 37 million units of this successful model to date. The compact car is considered the “most successful European car” and the Golf is the best-selling VW of all time”.

45 years of Volkswagen Transporter

The Bulli T1 was designed on the drawing board in 1947 and was the first transporter to be produced at Volkswagen in 1950. The T2 was already at car shows in 1979.

 In Bremen, Volkswagen Commercial Vehicles Oldtimer presents the very first Type 2 Transporter of the third generation, the Bus L from 1979, and the T3 Microbus from South Africa, which was manufactured in 1994. - By the way, the last T3 rolled off the assembly line there in 2002 (production had already ended in Germany in 1990).

Ein halbes Jahrhundert, eine wahrhaft goldene Hochzeit von Golf und Scirocco und 45 Jahre Bulli-Volkswagen Transporter - auf zur Oldtimer-Party nach Bremen

 

2. bis zum 4. Februar 2024 Oldtimer auf der Bremen Classic Motorshow

 

Bremen Classic Motorshow. Seit 2003 startet jeweis zu Beginn des Oldtimer-Jahres in Bremen diese Messe. Mit dem Start in die Saison werden fast 50.000 Gäste erwartet, die vom 2. bis zum 4. Februar 2024 über Oldtimer fachsimpeln und staunen, welche Modelle wieder hergerichtet wurden. Die acht Hallen decken einen Platz von 52.000 qm Ausstellungsfläche ab und zahlreiche Firmen stellen ihre Oldtimer und alles drum herum zur Schau. Eine Reise durch die Zeit erlebt man in Bremen zum Beispiel auch mit Volkswagen Konzernmarken. Denn im Rahmen der mobilen Jubilare präsentiert die Autostadt aus Wolfsburg „50 Jahre Volkswagen Scirocco“. Unter dem Motto „Volkswagen Classic“ wird auch das Jubiläumsjahr „50 Jahre Volkswagen Golf“ gefeiert. Und dann ist da noch die Nutzfahrzeug-Sparte, die immerhin mit „45 Jahre dritte Generation Volkswagen Transporter“ dabei ist. Und die Schwester Audi zeigt sich in einer mobilen Tradition und bringt die erste Generation des Audi RS 4 Avant mit. „Vier Marken, vier Jubilare, ein Stand“, so kündigt die Autostadt ihre Präsentation an, die uns neugierig macht. Also auf zu „Volkswagen Classic, Volkswagen Nutzfahrzeuge Oldtimer und Audi Tradition Parts“ in die Halle 5 der Bremen Classic Motorshow.

 Golf und Scirocco aus dem ZeitHaus

1974 gab es ein mobiles Debüt und der Renner-Klassiker Golf wurde geboren, es folgte der Scirocco als Coupé. Er war bei Karmann in Osnabrück entwickelt worden und war mit 50 PS, 70 PS und dann noch als TS mit 85 PS erhältlich. In Bremen der „viperngrüne“ Scirocco GT aus der ersten Generation und ein Scirocco II GT II (1992) ausgestellt – letzterer wird im Farbton Tornadorot präsentiert und stammt aus der Sammlung des ZeitHauses (Automobilmuseum) in Wolfsburg.

50 Jahre VW-Golf  - Eine Ikone feiert Geburtstag

Sicherlich werden einige Golf-Fahrer in Erinnerungen schwelgen, wenn sie den Golf I entdecken. Die Ikone von Volkswagen wird dieses Jahr 50! Und was das Schönste ist: VW zeigt die „einzigartige Studie EA 276“ und präsentiert den in Wolfsburg entstandenen Vorläufer des Golf aus dem Jahr 1969.

Es war damals eine, sagen wir automobile Revolution als 1974 der Golf zum Nachfolger des legendären Käfers wurde. Es folgten Frontantriebe anstatt Heckmotoren. Jetzt war genügend Platz für eine Heckklappe zum leichten beladen eines großen Kofferraumes, der durch eine umklappbare Rücksitzlehne unendlich viel Platz bot.

Kommen wir zum geradlinige Design, welches kein geringerer als Giorgetto Giugiaro erdacht hatte und welches fortan zur Formensprache bei VW werden sollte. Eine Grundlinie setzt sich bis zum heutigen Golf VIII fort. Gut, hier und da war man überrascht und es dauerte etwas (bei jedem neuen Golfmodell) bis der NEUE sich in die Sehgewohnheiten der Golf-Fans eingeprägt hatte. Aber bei jedem Wechsel zum neuen Model stellte man fest: der alte Golf war schön, aber dieser lässt ihn schnell vergessen.

Der Golf wurde schnell zum Lieblingsmodell vieler Autofahrer und bereits 1976 war die erste Million verkauft. Man glaubt es kaum, aber Volkswagen hat mit diesem Erfolgsmodell bis heute  37 Millionen Exemplare ausgeliefert. Der Kompaktwagen gilt als das „erfolgreichste europäische Auto“ und der Golf ist der meistverkaufte VW aller Zeiten“. 

VW-GOLF ist damit EINE IKONE DER MOBILITÄT.

 

45 Jahre Volkswagen Transporter

Der Bulli T1 wurde bereits 1947 auf dem Zeichenbrett entworfen und kam als erster Transporter bei Volkswagen im Jahr 1950 in die Fertigung. Bereits im Jahr 1979 stand der T2 auf den Automessen. 

 Volkswagen Nutzfahrzeuge Oldtimer präsentiert in Bremen den allerersten Typ 2 Transporter der dritten Generation, den Bus L von 1979 und dazu den T3 Microbus aus Südafrika der 1994 gefertigt wurde. - Der letzte T3 rollte dort übrigens 2002 vom Band (1990 war bereits in Deutschland Produktionsende).

Ein Unikat wird neben dem Messestand des 1. Käfer Club Wolfsburg e.V. gezeigt.

Auf der Messe in Bremen wird der exklusive Hochleistungskombi als Hingucker in Imolagelb gezeigt.

„Audi Tradition Parts“ präsentiert mit dem Audi RS 4 Avant die erste Generation, die auf der IAA 1999 in Frankfurt vorgestellt wurde. Auch dieses Modell wurde ein Renner. Leistung, Sportlichkeit und Alltagstauglichkeit stimmten, denn er war in der Zusammenarbeit mit Porsche bereits mit dem Avant RS2 gelungen und das erste RS-Modell der quattro GmbH folgte.

Ersatzteil- und Accessoire-Angebote

Auf der Oldtimermesse in Bremen werden auch Ersatzteile und Accessoires bei Audi Tradition Parts für die Ergänzung fehlender Teile für Restaurierungen der Wägen der Fans sorgen.
