Munich. You can go ice skating again this year in the Old Town until January 11, 2026. So head to the Ice Magic at Stachus - skates can also be rented. Right in the heart of Munich's city center, behind the Karlstor gate and directly adjacent to the pedestrian zone, you can hit the ice. Skate to music, party, and there's even face painting and "Soccer on Ice" for kids - the program is very diverse and colorful. For refreshments, there are plenty of Bavarian delicacies and warm drinks to create a wonderful pre-Christmas atmosphere. A highlight for fans of Bavarian traditional dress: On Mondays, all those who come in dirndl or lederhosen can skate across the ice at the "Tracht on Ice" event with free admission.
