Pop star Robbie Williams has been appointed FIFA Music Ambassador for the launch of the 2025 FIFA Club World Cup and will present the new official FIFA anthem, "Desire," on June 14.

Miami - USA. English singer-songwriter Robbie Williams is the new FIFA Music Ambassador. Williams will present the new official FIFA anthem, "Desire," at the opening match of the FIFA Club World Cup™ on Saturday, June 14, at 8 p.m. local time in Miami. The music video for "Desire" will be shown on the giant screens at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami as Egyptian giants Al Ahly FC kick off their campaign against the home team, Inter Miami CF. In an official video call with FIFA President Gianni Infantino, the singer-songwriter named the new official FIFA anthem "Desire." Williams composed the new anthem together with Karl Brazil, Owen Parker, and Erik Jan Grob. Robbie Williams enlisted the renowned Italian singer Laura Pausini to perform the song. The new anthem will provide musical accompaniment for all upcoming FIFA tournaments, including the 2026 FIFA World Cup.

FIFA President Gianni Infantino told the press:

"Our FIFA Music Ambassador Robbie Williams has created an incredibly fantastic and emotionally brilliant Official FIFA Anthem, and having Laura Pausini on board is fantastic... These two music stars are making 'Desire' the new song of world football. The song will create a tremendous atmosphere at the Opening Ceremony as the first FIFA Club World Cup kicks off.

The collaboration with Robbie Williams – one of the most decorated and successful music artists in the world – marks the beginning of a new era in FIFA's cultural approach. The goal is to use the unifying power of music to deepen the relationship with fans and make the emotions of the game even more tangible.  On his new role, Robbie Williams:

The 2025 FIFA Club World Cup™ 

will be played in twelve stadiums at eleven host cities in the USA.

The tournament will culminate in the final

• on Sunday, July 13, 2025, at MetLife Stadium in New York, New Jersey.

A total of 63 matches will make up the FIFA Club World Cup 2025

Miami. Der englische Singer-Songwriter Robbie Williams ist der neue FIFA-Musikbotschafter. Beim Eröffnungsspiel der FIFA Klub-Weltmeisterschaft™ am  am Samstag, 14. Juni, um 20 Uhr Lokalzeit, in Miami wird  Williams die neue, offizielle FIFA-Hymne „Desire“ vorstellen. Das Musikvideo zu „Desire“ wird auf den Grossleinwänden im Hard-Rock-Stadion in Miami gezeigt, wenn der ägyptische Topklub Al Ahly FC zum Auftakt auf das Heimteam Inter Miami CF trifft.  Im offiziellen Videogespräch mit FIFA-Präsident Gianni Infantino nannte der Singer-Songwriter die neue, offizielle FIFA-Hymne „Desire“.
Zusammen mit Karl Brazil, Owen Parker und Erik Jan Grob komponierte Williams die neue Hymne. Für seine Aufgaben hat Robbie Williams die berühmte italienische Sängerin Laura Pausini mit ins Boot geholt. Die neue Hymne wird alle kommenden FIFA-Turniere - auch jene der FIFA Fussball-Weltmeisterschaft 26 -  musikalisch begleiten.

FIFA-Präsident Gianni Infantino sagte gegenüber der Presse:
