Here, you can experience Munich beer garden tradition accompanied by live Bavarian music and a lighthearted Oktoberfest atmosphere. After a long bike ride or a walk around the small Hinterbrühl lake, it is the perfect place to relax and enjoy the beer garden. Shady spots are guaranteed beneath the old chestnut trees
This is a meeting place for cyclists, zoo visitors, and families with children—who, incidentally, will find everything they need for fun at the two playgrounds (covering 600 square meters and featuring a trampoline, climbing house, etc.).

Gasthof Hinterbrühl offers a rustic restaurant with Munich charm. Here, delicious Hacker beer is served alongside Bavarian cuisine. Guests can sit under huge blue parasols on the 450-seat serviced terrace

We visited on October 19, 2026, around 2 p.m.—following the opening of Oktoberfest (see our article on the start of Oktoberfest at this link Oktoberfeststart )—to listen to Bavarian music and enjoy the peaceful atmosphere!
